How does Nivoda work?

On the platform, you can buy from as many different suppliers as you like, from anywhere in the world and check out in one go. Once an order is confirmed, it is added to your daily invoice which will be sent at the end of the day in your currency of choice. Your goods are controlled for quality locally by our experienced in-house team before being shipped for final destination. We deliver your items in a fully insured parcel door to door in 3-5 business days.

What type of diamonds can I buy from Nivoda?

Nivoda has over 1.2 million diamonds listed on its marketplace including natural, lab-grown and melee stones.

Is it possible to buy a diamond that isn't listed on Nivoda?

Yes! All you need to do is paste the certificate number into the diamond search and you will see an option to request the diamond to be added to Nivoda. Our buying team will notify you when your chosen diamond is ready to purchase.

How do you quality check the diamonds?

As a buyer, the quality control process consists of two steps.

  1. You are able to view images and videos of the diamonds on the site and are also able to request videos or images of diamonds that do not have one yet.
  2. At checkout, you have the ability to set your own quality control criteria which our experienced Quality Control Team will confirm both with the supplier during the confirmation process and upon final inspection before your items are shipped to you. If we find any discrepancies between your preferences and the diamond, we will get in touch with you.
Can I place stones on hold while I confirm with my customer?

Yes, just simply click ‘Request Hold’ and the team will notify you when the stone is set aside.

How do I start buying diamonds on Nivoda?

Signing up to Nivoda is free, easy and a straightforward process. We just need your name and business email address to get started. Once your email is verified, we’ll ask a few questions about yourself and your business to better understand how our platform can help you with your diamond procurement needs. Once your account is verified, the world’s diamond supply will be at your fingertips!

Can Nivoda automatically order diamonds for me?

Once you’ve connected to our API Feeds, you can also connect to our API Ordering feature allowing you to streamline the ordering process even further.

When a customer places an order on your website, a member of our buying team will immediately be notified, allowing them to negotiate diamond pricing, perform quality control and place the diamond(s) on hold for you. Once you’ve confirmed, we begin the delivery process meaning we manage the entire supply chain from the customer’s order on your website to the diamond delivery at your doorstep.

Is there a minimum order value?

No – you can order as much or as little as you like!

What does it cost to buy diamonds on Nivoda?

The amount you are charged for buying diamonds through Nivoda is dependent on your location. Please contact your Account Manager who will be able to provide more information.

How do I pay for the diamonds?

We have three payment plans to choose from:

Advance Pay

With Advance Pay, we send you an invoice prior to confirming the diamonds. Once the money has cleared in our account, the diamonds are then confirmed and shipped to you. Delivery times are between 5-7 working days.

Incentive Pay

Select customers can opt into this payment plan, bypassing advance payment rules and their accompanying delays that are common with the majority of suppliers around the world. With Incentive Pay, we ship your diamonds as soon as possible and then invoice the items once they have been shipped to you. You have 3 working days to make the payment and after that, a credit fee of 0.2% is charged each day. Delivery times are between 3-5 working days.

Nivoda Capital

Credit is available subject to status and allows you to pay for your order in 30 or 60 days. You can find out more about Nivoda Capital here.

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

We aim to deliver all diamonds within 3-5 business days from the time you place an order to final door to door delivery. You’ll be updated on all movements of your items as they leave the origin country and make their way to your delivery address.

If there are any delays for whatever reason, you will be updated as well with a revised delivery time.

Am I able to return diamonds?

Certain diamonds are eligible for returns which you can find by filtering the criteria on the search tool. When you have selected your diamond and check out, you just need to select the ‘Includes Return’ option to confirm the returns insurance.

Please note that you will also be able to return a diamond if an error has occurred which was down to us or the supplier.

What does it cost to sell diamonds on Nivoda?

You can sell diamonds using Nivoda free of charge.

How do I sell diamonds on Nivoda?

Signing up to Nivoda is free, easy and a straightforward process. We’ll ask for some basic information about you, your company and your diamond stock. Once we have the required information, our team will review the application and you’ll have a decision within 1-2 business days.

We then ask you to choose your preferred way to list stock and depending on your choice during sign up, you will be provided with set up instructions to get started.

Once we have received your API information, first FTP upload or first email, our development team will work on integrating your stock. You can expect to be live and ready to start selling within 1 week.

How can I upload stock to sell diamonds?

You can easily upload your stock through API, FTP, a daily email sent to [email protected] or file upload (format).

Where do I deliver purchases to?

Depending on the diamond location, Nivoda will either collect the diamonds from your office or arrange direct shipment to a Nivoda fulfilment centre. This shipping is paid by Nivoda.

What are the payment terms?

All items purchased Saturday to Friday are paid the following Friday.

Is Nivoda in conflict with any of my exclusivity agreements?

No, listing your stock on Nivoda is not in conflict with any other online platform. We are a B2B trade platform only and do not sell to any end consumers.
