After spending his whole professional life in the diamond and jewellery industry, living and running businesses in South Africa, Hong Kong and the UK, David has a wealth of knowledge and experience which he has channelled into Nivoda. It is his mission to remove the financial and logistical obstacles faced by diamond traders and for Nivoda to be by far the largest and most trusted marketplace for the jewellery industry where people come to find everything they need to best serve their customers and strengthen their profits.
Andre has over 10 years of experience in software engineering & leads the technical strategy & development of Nivoda’s platform. He is focused on building the global infrastructure for the jewellery industry to trade as efficiently as possible, reducing the time taken to search, buy, ship and pay. Andre’s mission is to help retailers of all sizes to increase their profits through Nivoda’s real time inventory and sales enablement tools.
Bas joined Nivoda as CFO in September 2018. He has seven years of experience in investment banking at Kempen & Co and Nomura International. He has worked on over 25 Equity Capital Markets and M&A transactions. As an economist, he is driven to bring efficiency to the global jewellery industry and improve the profitability of Nivoda’s buy-side and supply-side customers.
Steve joined Nivoda at the start of 2022 and brought a wealth of experience across multiple operational, commercial, and executive management disciplines. He has a proven track record in startup scale and transformation leading businesses from limited start points to global entities. Over the years, Steve has held several executive roles in SaaS, e-commerce and marketplace businesses with the most recent being CCO for Trustpilot and taking the business through an exciting growth phase and successful IPO in March 2021. As CRO, Steve works to scale Nivoda, increase market share, and lead the company through high-growth phases during this exciting time.
After spending years managing teams and relationships with customers within the diamond industry, Priyanka joined Nivoda in 2019 as the first hire in India. When she first started working in the industry, she realised that there is a huge scope in the unorganised and extremely fragmented supplier base across the world and since then has worked closely with some of the top suppliers from around the world to increase sales and grow their businesses.
Ankur is an operations professional with vast experience in fulfillment and strategy and has worked across diverse industries from oilfield services to consulting and e-commerce across four continents. He enjoys solving complex global supply chain problems to streamline operations and optimise costs. Since joining the company in 2020, his objective has been to ensure that Nivoda is the platform of choice for diamond and jewellery traders worldwide.
With almost 20 years of experience in the diamond industry as a senior manager and diamond specialist, Michael possesses broad international experience successfully managing projects around the globe. He has helped companies scale up and has managed businesses in major diamond centers such as Antwerp, Dubai, Hong Kong, Tel Aviv, South Africa and Botswana. This experience allowed him to lead a myriad of projects across all aspects of the diamond value chain, from industrial mining all the way to jewellery and every step in between. Together with the executive team, Michael develops, implements and delivers the group vision and growth strategy.
From a young age, Louis showed a natural ability to lead and innovate when he founded his own property tech start up and raised multiple VC backed financing rounds for it. Since then he has become a three times sales leader having built, managed and led high performing sales teams from scratch. With over 10 years of robust sales experience across the B2B SaaS space under his belt, Louis is responsible for Nivoda’s sales teams across North America and EMEA.
Riddhi has over 10 years of experience and exposure handling multiple domains ranging from corporate finance, legal, company secretarial, business structuring, audits and assurance functions, global taxation and compliance, foreign exchange matters, project finance and financial operations and reporting across different industries including manufacturing, engineering and management consulting. She joined Nivoda in 2021 and since then has been driving the business structuring, geographical expansion strategies, financial operations and developing a risk management and process control framework.
Adoni enjoys building high-impact teams and scalable software platforms and has been doing exactly that since joining Nivoda in 2020. He brings over 13 years of experience working in the software industry and for companies including the likes of Wells Fargo, Thoughtworks, Sprinklr and Airasia to the table.
Preeti is responsible for people management, talent acquisition and culture building initiatives and practices at Nivoda. She brings 14 years of experience in managing HR in varied roles with organizations like Royal HaskoningDHV, Hindustan Pencils and Hindustan Unilever. Prior to joining Nivoda in 2021, she worked with Royal HaskoningDHV as a Talent Acquisition and HRBP in India and the Middle East.
For over 20 years, Vivek has been building products and product teams for enterprises and startups across four continents. He brings domain expertise from varying verticals ranging from retail to financial services and his innate ability to understand the user enables him to positively impact the customer’s business. Since he joined Nivoda in 2021, his mission has been to create customer delight through great product offerings, services and experiences.
Katy joined Nivoda in late 2021 with a background in B2B and software marketing. After starting her lifestyle blog in 2012, she developed a passion for content creation and social media and enjoyed navigating the different roles required to grow a loyal following and establish a successful website. Since then, she has worked with a variety of companies as a Freelance Marketing Consultant and now focuses on implementing a strong marketing strategy at Nivoda.
Gracie joined Nivoda in May 2021 bringing 7 years of customer service experience from different industries. Driven by accuracy and speed Gracie takes pride in providing the best service possible. As a customer service representative her goals include building and maintaining relationships for long term success.
